Ik ben niet zo heel dol op januari. Ik vind december heel erg leuk, ben dol op de Sint, de hele Kerstsfeer, de lichtjes en wat mij betreft mag dan op 1 januari de lente beginnen, maar meestal begint de winter dan pas echt. Alles donker, grijs en saai. Dus ik was helemaal opgetogen toen ik zag dat mijn Kersttakken in de bloei waren geschoten.
Did I tell you that I don't like January? I love the Christmas stuff, the lights and I don't like the grey and darkness of January. So I was thrilled to find out that the Christmas branches started blossoming today. I think I don't have to tell you that those are branches from the China tree:
Every year it is a surprise what the little buttons will look like when they flower.
I think this is the first time I have a small Napoleon! (Look right, inside the cup, photo below).
Jullie zien natuurlijk wel dat dit takken van de porseleinboom zijn. Elk jaar is het weer een verrassing wat er uit de knopjes komt. Ik geloof dat dit de eerste keer is dat ik een kleine Napoleon heb. (Kijk in het kopje uiterst rechts op de foto hieronder)

Tot mijn verbazing geven deze bloemen ook licht in het donker.
What a lucky day! Now I can see that Spring is definitely on it's way.
Wat een geluksdag, ik voel dat de lente toch onderweg is.

Mijn verloren contactlens! Vorige week had ik er 1, nu heb ik er 3, mmm maar ik heb nog steeds 2 ogen. Leuk je hier weer te zien,
