Soms lopen dingen nou zonder direct aanwijsbare oorzaak toch heel anders dan je gedacht en bedoeld had. Maar ineens komt dan alles weer op zijn pootjes terecht en leek het of het zo had moeten zijn. Laat ik daar nu eens een postje aan wijden:
Al een hele tijd terug liet ik mijn slaapkamer op mijn blog zien. Naar aanleiding daarvan kreeg ik van Jeany een heel aardig verzoek: of ze één van haar dozen voor mij mocht maken, nou wat dacht je?
Sometimes things are just going way different than you thought and hoped that they would go. But in the end everything seem to come together at once. Like in this story; all is well that ends well!

...offered me to make me one of her beautiful boxes, and I, of course, agreed immediately and thankful!

Kreeg ik zomaar deze mooie doos thuis gestuurd!
It is gorgeous and so well made, the pattern on the box just matches the pattern on the lid. Jeany is a real genius! She even made a tutorial about box making.

En ook de binnenkant helemaal àf!
The inside is just as perfect as the outside!
Ik bewaar er mijn zakdoeken in. Mmm ik zou er misschien eentje aan Jeany kunnen geven, want ze zal wel verdrietig zijn dat ik hier niet eerder over blogde....*schaamrood op de kaken*
I'll keep my handkerchiefs in here. Mmm, maybe I should give Jeany one, as I still hadn't blogged about this treasure yet, shame on me!
Behalve de prachtige doos stuurde ze mij ook nog dit schattige zout- en peperstelletje. Ik dacht toen dat het leuk zo zijn om beide items te gebruiken in een post over Vanessa's Mad Hatters' Tea Party (ja het is al zo lang geleden...*bloos*. Maar op de één of andere manier pasten ze toch niet in die post en ook niet de week daarop en toen was er weer wat anders...kortom...
Jeany was so generous, with the box she sent me this pepper and salt shaker and I thought both gifts would be suitable for Vanessa's Mad Hatter's Tea Party, yes it is that long ago *blush*. But somehow the items didn't fit in the post and not in the next post and then there was something else and then there was a challenge and then...well...
To thank Jeany I made her this folder; filled with some chocolate and a magazine, if I remember well!
Wel stuurde ik Jeany een portfolio toe, dat ik voor haar maakte, om haar spullen waar ze tags mee maakte in te bewaren en wat chocolade en een tijdschrift, als ik het me goed herinner! En nu komt het: Jeany heeft pas geleden haar DaWanda shop geopend waar ze haar tags en dozen verkoopt. Nu lijkt dus hèt moment te zijn om over haar kunsten te bloggen. Eindigt het toch nog allemaal goed en heb ik nu dan toch eindelijk geblogd over de doos, was het steeds van plan, maar blijkbaar moest het zo zijn. Pfff een hele opluchting! Nogmaals bedankt voor de prachtige doos én je geduld!
Apart from a talented box maker Jeany is a gifted tag maker too and now for the great news:
She just opened up a Dawanda shop and sells her artwork, boxes and tags, over there.
So that is why now is the moment to blog about Jeany's beautiful box and I can finally live happily ever after without feeling embarassed that I still didn't blog about this generous gift!
Pffew what a relief!
