A collection of four: Lonka candy tins

What/wat? Lonka candy tins/ Lonka snoep trommels.

How many did you say? Hoeveel zei je ook alweer? 1???

Now I can hear you think: this is just one tin? Yes it is!

Nu hoor ik je denken: dit is toch maar 1 trommel? Ja dat klopt! 

Deze foto beter? Is this any better?

On another cupboard I have these^ three, different Lonka candy tins/ 

Op een ander kastje staan deze^ 3, verschillende Lonka trommels!  

So I have a collection of 4 exact the same tins. Do you collect exact the same things too? I just cannot get enough of these tins that I use as storage. 
First: I bough the green one on the far right in about 1988 on a sale in a home for the elderly. Shortly after that I discovered the blue 'menthe glaciale' tin in Utrecht, but it was so expensive. When the Dutch auction site Marktplaats was established one of the first things I sought was this menthe glaciale tin and since then I am hooked. I find myself looking for these menthe tins every now and then and when I find one I start negotiating. 
Last? Bought one at 'Marktplaats' last year. After buying the seller mailed me that she thought I was really lucky that she let me buy this tin!! That doesn't help me stopping acquiring these! 
Why: Storage of course! LOL!
And now? I'm affraid that I will start to give these as presents once my kitchen is full of these (I can use maybe one more). If the price is right (less than 10 euros/ 15 usd), I'll buy! 


Ja, ik heb dus 4 precies dezelfde trommels. Als ik verzamelingen zie, zie ik eigenlijk nooit dat mensen precies dezelfde dingen hebben als verzameling, wel als (nieuwe) woondecoratie. Heb jij ook zo'n verzameling (begint bij 3!) van precies dezelfde dingen? Ik kan maar niet genoeg krijgen van deze trommels. 
Eerste: Toen ik bezig was met mijn afstudeerscriptie in 1988 ontdekte ik deze trommel in Utrecht bij de Pijpenla, voor 75 gulden, veel te duur voor mij! Zodra Marktplaats op het internet verscheen zocht ik naar deze trommel en met succes!
Laatste? Vorig jaar gekocht op Marktplaats! Kreeg ik naderhand nog een mailtje van de verkoper wat een bofferd ik wel niet was dat ik die trommel van haar mocht kopen whoehaha! Dat helpt ook niet om te stoppen met deze verzameling! 
Waarom? Opbergen natuurlijk! 
En nu? Ik vrees dat het eind nog niet in zicht is. Ik kan nog wel 1 zo'n trommel kwijt in de keuken en vervolgens ga ik ze denk ik maar cadeau doen, mits ze goed geprijsd zijn en dat betekent onder de 10 euro!
